Classically trained cellist Lowri has a wealth of freelance experience playing in orchestras, recording sessions, television and weddings and events. She has toured the UK with artists such as Hans Zimmer, played on several sold out tours with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball, and performed for King Charles at Buckingham Palace.
Lowri is an experienced and adaptable performer and is a safe pair of hands when it comes to organising your special day. She loves to provide personalised and memorable musical experiences for you and your guests.

I’m based in Llanidloes, Mid Wales but will travel all over Wales, Shropshire and the borders. I will charge 40p per mile for travel outside a 50 mile radius of my home.

Yes, I can pack up quickly and travel to the next venue (usually before the guests arrive)!

Yes, if the weather is dry I can perform outside. If it is very sunny, I will need a shaded area or a shade to play under.

I usually perform with backing tracks (most of which are acoustic piano or guitar).

I am happy to give suggestions and help you choose songs. I usually ask couples to let me know their chosen pieces of music at least a month before their wedding.

I usually arrive an hour before the ceremony begins so I can set up and speak to the venue staff and registrars

Some couples book up to 2 years in advance so it is advisable to book as soon as possible. I usually ask for a small deposit in advance to hold your date.

I will wear a smart, elegant dress and I can try to match your colour scheme if you have one.

You can let them know that the music will be instrumental and that nothing with a religious connotation will be performed (e.g Ave Maria, hymns etc).
